Seriously, It’s 12.53″ Long And 2.9 Slots High

The ASUS ROG STRIX GeForce RTX 3080 Ti O12G GAMING is not a small card in any dimension, though this means that ASUS could install three three fans to help move the heat away from the GPU and memory.  The card comes with a 9% factory overclock boost clock, and can be increased to 1845MHz at the push of a button using NVIDIA GPU Boost.

If you spend time manually overclocking the card you can do even better, The FPS Review achieved a boost clock of 1930MHz GPU and a memory frequency of 20.5GHz.  Amazingly they did not need to manually increase the fan speeds in order to run at those frequencies, the automatic fan profile was easily able to both keep the card reasonably cool and keep the noise down at the same time.

That translates into a couple of more frames per second but boosted the power consumption by an additional 50W, with the card hitting 451W board power along with the power coming from the three 8-pin PCIe power connectors.  The ASUS ROG STRIX GeForce RTX 3080 Ti O12G GAMING outperforms the Founders Edition, but not by much which is a pity as the MSRP is expected to be a fair bit higher than the FE.  Then again it is one of the fastest cards going, if that is what you need.
